We launched our new corporate identity around a year ago, and have since presented ourselves as Baloise with a fresher and more dynamic look across the Group. Our new corporate identity has now picked up two Red Dot Design Awards. Baloise was recognised in the “Corporate Design & Identity: Relaunch” and “Sound Design: Corporate Sound Concepts” categories of the “Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design” section. “It is a great honour that our brand has won the internationally renowned Red Dot Design Award in two categories. The accolades are deserved recognition for our employees’ international, cross-departmental collaboration on the rebranding that has given Baloise a new look,” says Daniel Zangger, Head of Branding at Baloise.
Dreams, visions, talent, ideas and innovations: the world is full of opportunities, and Baloise gives people the security they need to explore them. This idea is at the heart of our corporate identity, and is reflected in our logo, our colour scheme and our new brand sound composed by audity GmbH. Baloise developed the new corporate identity with the support of brand agency MetaDesign. “Working closely with Baloise, we have succeeded in bringing the new positioning of the brand to life. And we are now reaching a new audience with it. We are very proud of that. The awards prove that we were right to take a bold approach to the process, and underline the excellent working relationship we enjoy with Baloise,” says Lukas Eiselin, CEO of MetaDesign.
With around 20,000 entries annually, the Red Dot Design Award is one of the world’s largest design competitions, and is split into three sections:
- Red Dot Award: Product Design
- Red Dot Award: Design Concept
- Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design
Every year, the best brand and communication design projects are recognised in the “Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design” section. This year, around 9,000 entries from 56 countries were evaluated by a panel of 24 judges.
